A Hip-Hop Modernization...
Based on the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet, Rome & Jewel is set in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles against a backdrop of interracial romance. Coming from two completely different worlds, Rome and Jewel meet at a party, and it is love at first sight. This doomed romance ensues and causes jealousy, betrayal....and murder.
Starring Nate Parker and Lindsey Haun as the star-crossed lovers. Also starring, Allen Maldonado, Gregory Siff, Elijah Kelley, and Stephanie Dyann.
Also with veteran actors, John Rubenstein and Cleavant Derricks.
Directed by Charles T. Kanganis.
Greg plays the villian Tybalt, (Ty).
